About…

The author:

It matters little who I am; at Deductive Induction, I will let the soundness of my arguments and veracity of my assumptions speak for themselves.

The site:

“What is this shabby, poorly designed site?” you might ask yourself. It’s just here for me to verbalize my errant thoughts over the years. I decided that the quarantine gave me enough time on my hands to finally put my fingers to the keyboard. I don’t aspire to change people’s way of thinking or influence the status quo – so long as I get a couple of people to reconsider their preconceived views, that will be enough for me.

Mostly, I will be writing about topics in philosophy, history, economics, finance, politics, and whatever else strikes my fancy. The format will be somewhat similar to the dialectic in The Republic, which should hopefully explain the name of the site. Ultimately, I don’t claim to be some arbiter of truth – I present the assumptions as I see it and then an argument that I believe is sound. Whether or not you draw the same conclusions as me is up to you.

Anyways, enough of that. I hope you enjoy your visit to my humble blog.
